Traditional Marian prayers
- Memorare and Salve Regina — prayers seeking the intercession of the Mother of God.
- The Holy Rosary — the Gospel mysteries contemplated with Mary.
- The Seven Sorrows — meditation on Mary’s compassion and fidelity beside her Son.
- Sub tuum praesidium, Ave Maris Stella and other Latin prayers — traditional forms with English assistance.
- Daily prayers — offerings and prayers for the beginning and end of the day.
The saints
Lives and writings of the apostles, martyrs, doctors of the Church, confessors, virgins and holy founders. Each biography will include reliable historical references and the saint’s liturgical commemoration where verified.
Novenas and litanies
Collections will include the novenas and litanies traditionally associated with Our Lady, St Joseph, the Sacred Heart, the Holy Name of Jesus and the saints.
Private devotions are not all of the same status. We will identify approved public liturgical texts separately from popular devotional practices and private revelations.
